The Practitioner Qualification is designed to test the delegate's practical ability to apply good project management practices as set out in the APM Body of Knowledge. It is therefore only suitable for experienced project managers who have passed the APMP.

Eligibility for a Black CSCS Card

APM members working in the construction or related sector, who have obtained the Practitioners Qualification can apply directly for the senior management Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Black Card, once they have completed the managerial level Health & Safety test.

They will not have to prequalify for the test by undertaking an NVQ or SVQ level 4 or 5 in a relevant topic.

This represents formal recognition from the Construction Industry Council of APM's membership and professional qualifications.

The APM are the only professional institution with an approved route for its qualified members to achieve the senior management (black) CSCS card.
