Disputes & Adjudication

Since its introduction in 1998, Adjudication has become a popular and successful method of resolving disputes, especially within the construction industries.

Adjudication provides disputing parties with robust and legally enforceable decisions in a quick and low cost manner. The costs involved are significantly lower in comparison to the use of arbitration or litigation techniques.

Ladymead has a wealth of current experience in the field of Adjudication. We have assisted the Chartered Institute of Building to become a Adjudication Nominating Body (A.N.B.) and have developed and run training courses for them.

Peter Curtis, founding director of Ladymead Projects, is an experienced adjudicator and is registered on the approved lists of a number of nominating bodies.

Ladymead can assist your company by either providing an individual to act as the Adjudicator or by assisting one of the parties in the preparation and management of a referral or defence.

If you are involved in a dispute over time extensions, delays or disruptions, Ladymead can assist with the use of delay analysis which is a part of our project planning expertise.
